The 2017 Château Beychevelle Grand Cru AOC Saint-Julien Bordeaux contains 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. Chateau Beychevelle 2017 has a very deep purple colour. The nose is dominated by ripe red fruit. The purity of the fruit, the finesse of the tannins and elegant oaky notes come together to offer silky palate. Chateau Beychevelle 2017 is a harmonious marriage between the elegance and precision of Cabernet Sauvignon and the generosity and roundness of Merlot.

The blend is comprised of three grapes varietals: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Intense bold yellow with golden highlights. A rich bouquet: a burst of exotic fruits (pineapple, mango), the roundness of stonefruits (Mirabelle plum, apricot), a slight hint of vanilla. A voluptuous palate combining creaminess and vibrancy the captivating density of exotic fruits (pineapple, mango), the silky firmness of stonefruits (Mirabelle plum, apricot), the brisk freshness of grapefruit notes.

No fewer than 50 individual wines make up this cuvée. The traditional proportions for Demi Sec are: 40 to 45% Pinot Noir, 30 to 35% Meunier, 20 to 25 % Chardonnay. Demi Sec shows rich praline and hints of toast.
